Might be a stupid question...

Why do some dually trucks drive around with a wheel removed on both sides of the rear axle? I see it most often on Dodge trucks, is there an advantage to this? Do they think it looks cool? I don't understand, can someone please explain?

Are they running a super single in the rear? The only reason that I could think of would be less rolling resistance.

No, it's just one stock wheel and tire on each side. If you ask me I thinks it looks stupid but maybe there a reason for it.

Which are they running? Inner or Outer..........

I can't think of a reason. I would never short my fat girl her training wheels.

The only reason I can think of is they had a blowout and arent in a rush to fix it but dont understand why they would be riding around with both sides missing one. Maybe they think it saves gas

I've only seen this once and the guy was actually only running one wheel on the left and both on the right. Very strange.

I know of one or two guys who run just the inside dual because they don't want to replace 6 tires.

Those are the kind of things you think of before you buy a dually
