Hooked for the 2nd time tonight at the DPF f@#%ed me!

Hey guys.. So I'm runnin' total stock but a leveling kit and an AFE stage II with 35"x12.5" hancook MT's, 30psi in front, 35psi in the back. Fist time pullin' 2 weeks ago, I get second place in stock 4x4 with a 311 feet. I was rollin 3rd gear, 4 low. This was 2 counties over.. tonight, same set up, in front of home crowd.. AS SOON as I hook, it goes into regan. and all white smoke while spoolin'.. I pull 100 and some change. Has this happened to anyone else!?! I have 3K till warranty is up then DPF delete/spartan.. I was runnin stock and if I ran 311' tonight, I woulda' taken the class..

You are going to Love the "Spartan". I have the 250 tune, I pull around 7000lbs every other week, and this thing is an "Animal". Would make a great street racer, light to light of course, and make sure the guy you are racing is on your right, ha ha

Wonder if you put it in park to disable the regen how long you'd have before it tried again?

I don't know, I just gave her the onions but those musta' shot out the tail pipe too because there weren't any lol! Then it wouldn't shift outta 4lo and it was stuck in 3rd gear. I disconected my batteries for 15 minutes and no such luck. Called a diesel mechanic friend and he told me to put it in nuteural and shut the truck off. Turn the key on and off to the accessory postion 10 times and on the 10 one, start it. BINGO! Totally went back to normal. Never heard of that before but then again, I'm a newbie. Anyone ever heard of this before with the on/off 10x's thing??

Don't worry about the warranty. Competition truck pulls void the warranty.
