Trying to work a deal on a 2010...what are they going for?

Alright, so I have my eye on a 2010 f-250 crew cab lariat fx4 with some other bells but nothing major. The sticker is $56,500 and they won't budge off of $45,999. I am really hoping to get them down to $40k, y'all think that's possible? Do y'all think they are just playing hard ball? How low do y'all think they will go, realistically? Thanks

Just depends how many they have on their lot and area. But I have send where people are getting 15-20k off the sticker. I think they are playing hard ball.

I can't imagine were you would get more off unless they had a trade to work with.

Well the average I have seen is $15k off sticker and this dealer is at $10k off right now. But I do have a trade, the truck in my sig...which they are offering $23k unseen right now.

I think you might be able to get a little bit more, but not much. They are probably really trying to get rid of them now. But that is already a big jump off the sticker. Either way, at that price, or a little lower, you are getting a heck of a deal.

Prices posted are like the mpg figures in the fourms. Vary alot and not all facts are posted. Used,New,trade in,demo, etc. I wouldn't buy a 6.4 anyway now unless I needed one so bad. I'd wait. They say I'm in a minority with problems but the general design and problems inherent, mpg, etc. make it a no no again for me. I wish I'd known about the 6.7 I'd had waited.

I think that you should be able to get them down to 42,375 (25% off) which is 14,125 off the sticker. I got 20.333% off sticker and that was in January... they need to be moving these 2010's to make room for the 2011's and they are only offering you 19% off right now...

TXENGR - that's what I'm waiting for, I'm in no hurry. And heck, if it doesn't get there I'll got for a 2011 next year. I was working with a local dealer on trying to get a 2010 all black but they couldn't find one but they did say they had an all black 2011 6.7L Lariat Crew Cab FX4...basically the same truck just the current model for $49k and some change. So, if the dealer with the 2010 doesn't budge I'm going to start looking hard at the 2011's

I bought my 2010 Lariat CC FX4 Long Bed about 3 weeks ago. It had a sticker price of $58,709 and I paid $42,686 plus tax & license. This deal also included a Leer 100XQ canopy which has a value of somewhere around $2800. I live in Washington State. I worked on the deal for about 4 months. You should be able to get a much better price.
