TURBO SOCK?

i heard of a few guys getting turbo socks, not sure what this does or why i would need it but do you guys know whats up with the topic?

It's like header wrap for the turbine side of your turbo. It's supposed to keep heat out of your engine compartment and more importantly in your turbo. Hotter air moves faster so if you can keep the heat in your turbo it will spool faster.

yea i got ahold a dude near me that makes em and i think im gonna give it a shot. does anyone on here actually have one, or know someone that has one?

I've had one laying around for my 6.0 for awhile now.... Not thrilled about fighting the thing on. A few sled pullers will put them on large turbos to help them spool.

this guy is selling them for around $100 so no matte how hard they are to put on i dont think i can pass up a quick HP gain for that cheep ya know!
