i sold my 99, 7.3 and bought an 08 f350 dually myself. i have two weeks it, and has been to the dealer for a new hose and thermostat. the new truck has 61,000 miles and i got it for $25,800. so look around and you will find good deals.

if buying a truck between 80-100k make sure you buy the 200k mile ford warranty before truck hits 100k.. i think itll be like 1800-2000$.. i would never own this truck without a warranty.

i may purchase the 200,000 mile warranty, but if you have over 36,000 miles you cant get the warranty that covers the 21 components. only the 13 one. heres where i got my info. Ford Extended Warranty - Genuine Ford ESP
