2008s
ok, so i have seen many many threads of problems with the 2008s
my question is, what is wrong with the 08s and would i be making a mistake on buying a 2008? it is from someone on the forum and it has 33k miles on it, im sure with that many miles that the problems would have showed up by now and he would have fixed it... now i am starting to question my choice on the truck because of the vast # of threads on here ![]() ![]() ![]() so would i be making a mistake or should i go for it? how many of you 2008 owners are happy and have you had problems?, if you have what was it, did you fix it, and any problems since? from what i understand is that there are main problems and they are all recalls and ford will fix them am i right? thanks a lot ![]() ![]() -Bubba |

If it is a 2008 I would make sure its a job 3.

this may sound dumb but
what is so important about it being a job 3? |
I have a 2008 Job 1...35k miles (10k with Spartan)...no problems.
well that is a very good thing to hear,
do you know what they changed in job 3? |
the air dam...and the tranny. I thinkg the tranny changes are the biggest changes from Job 1 that people 'worry' about. I think job 1 has an external filter, job 2 and 3 have internal? I cant really remember all the differences but i am sure an expert will chime in
