2010 non DPF delete mileage questions

I am considering a new 2010 but have a few questions regarding tunes, mileage, and emissions. I live in an area that requires annual emmisions testing so I need to stay emmisions friendly. Are there any tuners that will help the mileage without doing the dpf delete? Are there any other things that will help? All of your assistance is highly appreciated.

I have seen 1-2 out of the Spartan with the DPF on. The Edge CS/CTS units seam to be right around the same range as well.
