Any 450 owners with DPF delete and tuned?
I'm looking to see what kind of fuel mileage you are getting with the DPF delete and some kind of tune. What kind of weight are you pulling also and the type(stop and go, hills, etc..) of trip?
Thanks |

I have a four wheel drive 450 with the 4.30 gears. Running the Spartan 210 heavy tow tune all the time and I just averaged 18.7 according to the computer on a 200 mile trip to the coast. I know its not very accurate but stock it would have been around 13 or 14.
When I tow my trailer I can get about 10 on the computer if I keep the speeds down. That's normally on slightly curvy highways without alot of stop and go. Trailer is about 18k or 19k depending on what I have in it. I have also been tuned for about 13,000 miles. Pulls like a different truck then stock, I wouldn't tow without the tune now. |

I highly doubt you get double. Don't trust anything the lie-o-meter says. You need to check the mileage, don't trust the read out on the dash - I hear it gets way off when tuned. My F250 stock is 1-2 MPG off either direction then the read out.

Anyone running 4.88's? I'm getting 10mpg stock at the moment.. spartan's in the mail!

I have the 4.88 gears, use the spartan 250 daily. I don't haul a load stock my truck was steady at 9.2 last I calculated on a mostly highway trip was 13.5. For sure would not expect to double your mpg. When I hand calculated my lieometer was saying an even 17

Let's hope for at least 15. Otherwise I'm parking this truck and running my 7.3 that gets 18 mph everywhere

I have an 08 f-450 with 4.30 gears tuned by Spartan with cat and dpf delete. I get 10mpg (hand calcul) pulling 20 to 21k on flat ground with the 210 tow performance tune. Empty I have seen 17 with the 250 tune. With this setup and the 60 gallon fuel tank, I can drive all day and not stop for fuel. Get it, you will not regret it!

I also am seeing 15-17 empty on the 250 tune. And for sure, go ahead and do the nasty, you will not turn back...lol
