Ram Air Hood on 08?

With the all the coolers under the hood, 95 degree plus heat, and the general dislike between diesel engines and heat, would an aftermarket "Ram Air" hood make sense for F-Series with the 6.4? BTW, I have the Spartan with a 250 tune, and drive it reasonably. What to you think?

Yea it would make sense, but its not necessary. It would help dissipate the heat, but probably not enough to make a difference.

dont forget that if a diesel isnt as hot as ford wants it, it will not be as efficient as a well heated engine.

and the nessary air intake temp and under hood temp is already addressed with coolers for many applications to keep it undercontrol.

Most people get the ram air hoods for looks. Me personally I don't like how they look but that's just my opinion.
