Engine Operating Temperatures
I have a F-350 Dually running Edge CTS and changing to a Spartan today and going to run the 275 tune. Also running 4" turbo back DPF/Cat delete 6"mitre cut Stacks and Banks cia and am running EOT's as high as 213 when interstate driving at 80 mph for a sustained time period is this normal?
Also I have had the TFT's at 183 during the same time period is this ok or do I need to upgrade some areas and that's not towing anything on either question. Maybe the Spartan will help with that if its too high? |

I run 194 EOT and ECT everyday driving - 85-95 ambient temps.

EOT and TFT's
What tune are you running on your spartan? My 2008 F350 is a dually so I don't know if that makes a difference, my EOT's ran 204-206 today running 75-80.
TFT's were 175-185 at that speed. |

My EOT runs about the same towing 10k @75mph in 80 - 90 degree ambient temps. I don't worry about that at all, but it is at the high end of where I don't worry.

is there a difference when you say ambient temps? Also what is the correct EGT sensor I can't figure that out on my Spartan EGT 1, 2 or 3?
