I have the Ford ESP which covers all my maintenance. I asked them to change the fuel filters at my last oil change 13k and they said under Ford guidelines that it cant be changed until 20k, even under the severe schedule, or the service plan will not pay for it. I have been emptying the separator each month and get good diesel (as much as you can). The dealer checked the filter last time and said it looked ok, and they are very cool, what do you guys think. I don't mind changing it myself or paying. I see the horror stories and it worries me. I have my oil changed every 4500 and I am due for oil in about 2 weeks????
