Any Diff between 2008 & 2010 Super Duties?
Got an F350 08' with 33k. Loaded Lariat etc... Toying with idea to get a 2010 as rebates climb higher... A chance I can switch and keep same payment etc... and I have decent equity in mine. Was wandering if the 2010 has any differences? (quieter injectors, more airbags etc..) I looked at the 2011's and was tempted but not sure I like the new style and lil rebate.

Yeah a 2010 has all the kinks worked out that the 2008's had, such as the radiator problem and the weaker head gaskets, and the 2010's are job 3's as the 2008's are job 1's and 2's. I'm not positive but I don't think any or at least all of the 2008's had the Microsoft SYNC feature in them as well. Personally, I wouldn't get a 2011, it should be known by now that first year diesels always have kinks (just like your 08) that they need to get worked out. I'm also pretty sure that the injectors are airbags are the same in all of the 6.4 models, but not 100% positive.

from a thread on here recently i think we all came to the conclusion ford didnt really paint anything like axles and basically everyhting.. 2010 look all surface rusted..look under urs.. we could be wrong

Well mine only has 1700 miles on it and the only rust i see are these little areas that connect the wheel to the axle, everything else seems to be painted... for now I guess

Thanks for the info. My 08' is a Job3, its stated on the sticker. So, it had all the fixes as well when I got it. Any diff in air bags etc...? Again, my reason for asking is as rebates get higher on 10's if I get the right price for mine might make since to upgrade but only if the numbers work out well. From what I can tell its the same truck by bout 95%... Thanks again for your input.
