Well just like the title says I just sold my 06 Ram 3500 Mega Cab that was pretty heavily tuned on... 90hp injectors, twins, smarty tuner, airdog, etc...

I just bought an 08 F450 with 19,000 miles (hope i like it ??? )

When doing some research i have come to the conclusion i'll probably see 10-12mpg unloaded...

I'd like to do a spartan and dpf/cat delete however im quite worried as my truck still has warranty.... If i were to spartanize it and something happened to teh motor lets say could i put the dpf back in take the spartan out and maybe get the dealer to warranty it? or does it leave a trace in the ecm?

Also... My New Truck is a king ranch with bucket seats front and rear... does anyone know of any subwoofer options (other than jl stealthbox) that would work in the back?

No trace left in the ECM by the spartan or H&S tuners

it will not trace into the ecm. just make sure you put the dpf back on then go in and erase all dtc's, and you will be fine.

So no trace in the ECM I love that! How hard would it be to swap the DPF and Cat back in if something were to happen?

BTW, there have been a number of threads from other F450 users. Apparently, they don't seem to see any increase when tuned. Only benefit they appeared to receive was no Regen anymore.

welcome! I put 2 10" rockford p3 shallow mounts in mine. Bought my box from hifisoundconnection.com. They still bottom out sometimes but kick like a mule if you crank it up!!

when i had my Titan i wanted some tricky work done w/the sound and even though one company offered it, i let the guy do it custom (he did a great job and ended up being the selling point of the rig). if your handy you cant do alot of it yourself. behind the back seat is one option for subs, custom in the back and/or front center console. or for the big dog . . the custom "extended center console" where it goes from the back of the cab to the dash filled with what ever you want and they would fit it with the KR leather so it wouldnt look stupid. that last option is to much for me but i seen it done and it looked BA. if your doing the damn thing make sure you go with a W505 touch screen from alpine, you wont regret it, i have had them in my last 2 trucks and all my buddys ended up getting it. alpine speakers are good too, and RF subs are the **** (P1) . hope that helps.

Well Dang! I could give er a try anyway I guess and see what happens..

I did get decent mileage on my road trip back (1500 miles) I averaged 12mpg and thats running between 65-76mph
