Anyway I’m am so tired of people telling me “I sure hope that you are getting paid to advertise for Cabelas”, “I would never buy that truck if I wasn’t getting paid”, etc. etc. etc. I shop at Cabelas quite frequently and I have absolutely no problem driving my truck and doing a little advertising If that’s what you want to call it. What upsets me the most is that on a couple different occasions it was from people who drive KR and Harley Davidson pickups and unless you know something I don’t know they are not getting a kick back either. So if you don’t like “advertising” for a company on your truck don’t buy a Cabelas, KR, Harley Davidson pickup, or don’t put KR or Harley wheels on either or the Harley headlights that some many people do (which I think look great but wouldn’t be available were it not for the Harley Edition truck). Sorry for the rant I just get sick of listening and reading threads bashing “Company Edition” Trucks.
Sounds to me like these guys are either jealous of your truck, or are just tryin to get a rise out of you... Regardless, those guys are NOT getting paid to advertise for King Ranch or Harley Davidson, if anything they payed extra to get that special edition. The Cabelas edition is a very nice truck and thats all there is to it...
As a side note, Ford is not paying us to keep the Ford emblems on our trucks either.
