xmsn filters

i have an early job 1 and i have seen some info on the factory filter not doing its job.should i put a bypass on it.also im a big fan of royal purple.anybody not like this stuff other than its price?i used to run it in every lubed portion of my toyota.and a lot of big name racing companies use this.im thinking about running it in everything in my diesel as well.anyway just looking for some info on that xmsn stuff.also i can only find one coolant filter setup for the 6.4 @ dieselsite.com,anyone know any others.been looking but no luck.just checking my options.i would like for this to be my last truck,or at least last me a while.

I haven't heard anything of the sort, regarding filters; fuel or oil. Unlike dodge, the OEM motorcraft/racor filters are the best you can get for our trucks. I cant comment on coolant filters as i don't have one and i have not heard of xmsn filters

Like every other oil related thread, ask 20 people and you will get 20 different answers. Royal purple is a good product, but i don't use it.
