yeah, The big part is your chip......You Need One. The intake, exhausts and programmer got me a little over 5 miles to the gal.

The 7.3 detuned from the factory compared to the 6.0. So everything you do to it improved power and milage

Dang guys!!! I'm happy if I get NEAR 500 mile/tank!!! And usually I'm getting about 400-ish before I fill up. Though...I'm at about 400 right now with about 1/4 tank left....maybe I'll get near 500!!

I am currently getting about 13 MPG around town and got a little over 14 MPG on the interstate on a 500 mile trip I took last week.

I thought this thread was about the 6.4L fuel economy. It makes it difficult when I have to wade through 16 posts to find the 3 people who actually have a 6.4L truck. Yes, we all know that the older engines get better fuel mileage. Maybe the 6.0L and 7.3L forums would be a better place to discuss the fuel economy of those engines...

2000 was lifted, 35s, Gale Banks Stinger kit, 4x4, CC, auto.

2008 is stock-4x4, CC, auto.
I am getting 13 miles to the gallon around town empty (no towing or load). I have 1945 miles on vehicle. I think a lot depends on how heavy your foot is on the pedal.
