How long is it safe to tow????

Hi guys, Im gonna be towing my boat from Miami to Marathon which is roughly 2 1/2 hours. I have the SCT tuner and it will be on the tow tune. I wanted to know if it's safe to tow it for that long and if there was a better tune to set it on for that long ride?? The boat weighs about 7,000 lbs. Thanks for the help.

You will be fine. I towed the same weight from Boston to Birmingham with my race tune.

Also, will I be blowin alot of smoke?? Cops in that area are not so cool.

I think you should be fine to tow 7,000 with that tune. I've heard from SCT and other guys on here that if you are going to go over 10,000 you should run the Trans only tune. Hope this helps.
