Where is the DPF?
Is it removed if after market exhaust is installed?
Dont wanna loose my warranty but i was already informed by a buddy a the MPG i could gain by removing it. Though he didnt tell me about voiding the warranty.

you can either install downpipe back or just a delete pipe to remove the DPF. And yes by removing it you will also need to tune the truck to stop the regen process. By doing either of these things will kill your warranty if catch by Ford and can led to a 10K fine by the EPA.

Well where i live im not worried with the EPA. So basically you cant install and after market exhaust? Not sure how that was. Thanks for the info
Well i am gonna talk to the dealer after i take my truck back for its ISSUES. and see what they say. Maybe my home town dealer will give me some good news

I dont think you can "Just remove it" as I think your truck will go into constant re-gen. you will need some programming. And "Yes" the gains are worth it imho.

You can install a aftermarket DPF back exhaust and you'll be fine through the EPA and dealer. It's when you want to delete the DPF/DOC(cat) using aftermarket exhaust or delete pipes is where there is an issue about fines and warranty.
