Hub issues

I have been having some problems with my hubs unlocking. Last week i used my 4wd in my yard and manually locked my hubs. i proceeded to unlock them once I was out of the yard and go back to 2wd. I even moved the truck forward and reverse to aid in unlocking.
That night I drove the truck to go out and realized that it felt funny. When I got back I checked and the hubs had never unlocked. I cycled the hub a few time while trying to rotate the u-joint to get them unlocked but one of the axle shaft end seals had already shredded itself apart.

Im not very happy at all.

Mine are stuck also, 06
Let me know what you do to get them unlocked.
Seems mine has been locked for a long time, chewing up the front tires. I think because I got stuck on some really deep sloopy mud.

The best way to get them unstuck is to hit the hub with a rubber mallet. I would suggest taking your hubs apart and cleaning them. There may be something else wrong though. Your axle shaft seals should not be wearing out. Sounds like you got some mud or grit inside of everything and it's taking a toll. You should be able to run your hubs locked for a really long time before anything starts to wear out (besides tires of course).
