rear diff question

ive got the limited slip diff on my truck but i was wondering what it takes to engage that thing? i do snow removal in the winter and it gets really annoying to need 4x4 ALL THE TIME b/c im only spinning one rear wheel. i have noticed engagement a few times when the rear was spinning alot.

our 02 chevy HD will lock the rear up really easily and this helps out alot.

just wondering what the engagment parameters are and if i should be looking to install an E locker or something.

Fords limited slip sucks badly. If I were you I would look into getting a E locker.

any recommendations?

edit: did a quick search and it sounds like a truetrac would be the best route for me. i never go mudding with this truck so a selectable isnt necessary.

any ideas where to get one? theres a four wheel parts store close by i might buy it from there and have em install it as well.
