Rear end Gone

Yesterday I drove home from work on 81 for about 120 miles until I got to abingdon, va and my rear end locked up on me in town. I barely got it out of the road. I picked it up this morning with my uncle's dodge and hauled it to the dealership

what do you think caused this? low diff oil?

claim denied, water contamination.....
just picking, I'd hope they don't something like that but you never know with them anymore. Hope its not down long, if it locked up, it will more then likely need a complete rear axle not just a quick rebuild.

Well I know what caused it and lets just say my truck had too many 4wd launches.
The called the house this week while i was at work and left a voicemail and dad called me this morning and said it shattered something in the rear end and parts will be in tuesday
