Decided To Keep My 2008, Wait 2 Years...

and see how the 2011 & 2012 trucks have done. I think they were giving me a pretty good deal on the 2010 (sticker $58700 & out the door at $43,320 which included a Snug Top Super Sport cap) but the problem was they were really giving me a low amount on my 2008 which made be almost $6000 thousand upside down and they would not budge at all in the trade dollars. I told them goodbye this morning and if they still had the truck in a few months to give me a call. The sales manager was a little pissed because he had a buyer lined up for my truck. I'm really happy with my 2008 XLT..just wanted the fancier Lariat. Thanks for all the posts (both for and against) as this did help me with my decision.

To me, there aren't enough differences between the 2008, and 2010 MY trucks to make it worth trading. But I agree with you entirely, wait a few years, then maybe trade for a 2012 or something.

I was right there on ordering a new 2011 to replace my 08 and I backed out of a great deal. My 08 is running very well and I'm not going to be a Job 1 test driver again. I'll buy a 2012 with all of the bugs worked out and upgraded power plus upgraded other stuff. Go 6.4 PSD !!
