Invoice Is $51556..Does That Sound Right?

Thanks to the responses to my other threads. The invoice the dealer showed me on the truck I'm looking at is $51556. It is a 2010 Lariat F350 FX4, Pueblo Gold, and as near as I can determine the only thing it does not have is navigation & moon roof.

AW794..I would be trading in my 2008. Yes that price is before any rebates. My current payment is $741 per month (I have 70 months left). The payment on this 2010 truck would be $760 per month (84 months). I almost always pay $200-300 more each month but like the 84 month schedule in case things get tight. Plus, since I use the truck for my business, I can write off the payments. I guess I did not realize that these trucks cost so much even to the dealer.

Im thinking resale value, the 2010 will bring you more in the long run. I say go for the trade. What is your interest rate at?

First, I love the lil video in your signature!

Secondly, $760 a month isnt bad at all for a new truck especially if your paying extra towards the principle every month. it really isnt bad considering I'd be paying $1000 per month for a brand new 2011 for 72 months.

what is the price on the window sticker, my truck has everything but sunroof and nav with a 54,5xx windown sticker and i got it for $43,500, you are getting SCREWED @ $51,000 also a rule of thumb is never finance a truck for more than 60 months, if you cant afford it at that then you probably dont need it. unless it is 0% interest. anything more than 60 months and you will be stuck without losing money, unless you are going to keep it forever.

you should be able to get atleast $11,000 off of window sticker, i talked to 3 different dealers and they all came atleast that much off. I bought an 06 ford in early 07 and they came 12,000 off. Trust me they have more wiggle room, if not talk to other dealerships, dont get yourself in a bind, no sense in paying more if you dont have to
