vibration in driveline

i just had a question, i was test driving a 2008 f250 diesel with an 8 inch procomp lift and 38 inch toyo tires, there was a vibration or something when driving under 20mph, at first i thought it was the tires because the feeling was like i could feel every grip that the tires made on the pavement, my question is, could this be something else? something like the carrier baring or the drive shafts? thanks for the help

I'd check your driveshaft angles.

It is the carrier bearing. Get a new two piece with a cv in it. I did and fixed the vibration that I was battling for weeks. Every time out I was adjusting it and never went away.

thanks for the info, that is what i thought it was, it is not my truck....saw it at a dealer and test drove it.
the guy tried to tell me that it was the tires but i knew it couldnt be and just nodded my head, it has been there for a year and they dont know why it wont sell...hmm maybe the price is wayyyyyy too high and when people get in it they dont know what that vibration is so they say no.

i do have to say that it was priced very high, at least i think, it was 40k for a 2008 with 8000miles, i think that it should have been around 34 or 35 at most....i mean the warranty ends next year

but that was my thought, i am going to let it sit on the lot for another 2 months or so, it has been there for about 8 months now, and then go there and say ill buy it right now for 34 with t&l, probably wont give me it but we will see lol

i wish i could just make a deal with them that if i fixed the vibration that they would give it to me for like 20k in my dreams lol
