Tire Sensor Question
Buddy of mine put aftermarket tires/wheels on an 08 Superduty and was wondering how to tire the tire sensor light off on the dash? Any input?
Thanks, Pigg |

Put the factory sensors in the aftermarket wheels, or deal with the light.

If the factory sensors were put in the wheels, look on the inside drivers door pillar for the PSI chart. This is what the trucks computer is programmed for. If you run a PSI significantly different then what's on the chart, then your stuck dealing with the light.

No way to "turn off" the sensor I know off. My buddy glued 2 PVC caps together and put the sensors inside, added a schrader valve and pressurized the vessel and stuck it behind the seat. Not perfect, but innovative I thought. Or just attach the sensors to the new wheels..

I've had the light for a year it comes and goes away for a week then back again just tell him to get used to it. TPMS suckkkkkkkk

Thanks guys, thats kinda what I figured, We were wondering if there was anyway to lower the psi value that they read. I was wrong about them not being in the new tires, they are in the new tires and wheels, just not running factory standard psi values. Didnt know if a scan tool would be able to set a lower value for them.
