Nitto Terra Grap. vs BFG All Terrain TA ?
I had 2 tires begin to seperate this Sunday so I need to replace all 4 tires. POS Continantal's. I think I've narrowed it down to the Nitto's and the BFG's. I seem to remember seeing good reviews here on the Nittos but I don't find the specific threads in a search. I kinda know what to expect from the BFG's but what's your guys experience with the Nitto's? Pics would help also... Thanks

I've had both on my current and previous trucks... Nitto's wore like heck for first 20k, now they are staying at around a quarter of an inch for the last 10k. Only going to get around 30k out of em before I pick up another set of BFG AT's, had them twice on the last truck and can easily go 50k with burnouts and towing 10.000+ lbs. People are saying they get great milage out of the Toyo's, but I also heard they are made by the same company as Nitto, same rubber? I'll stick with the BFG's...

What kind of mileage did you get out of the Nitto's?
I've gotten pretty good mileage out of the bfg's before but back then they weren't E rated as I remember. The Nitto tire now is rated #400 higher than the bfg's. The only towing I do usually is my toyhauler once or twice a month but my bed is full of diesel tanks, tools, truck tires and what have you the rest of the time... |
