Thanks for the info guys. My truck was built in 3/07. Is there any specific problems with Job 1 6.4 trucks?

The Job2 start date is 7/30/07, according to the links. My door just says Date: 07/07. More than likely, it's a job 1, but there's about a 1 in 15 chance it could be a job 2. Is there some definitive way to tell?

Does this mean I should stay away from performance parts and tuners?

Check where the 2nd transmission filter is. If you cant find it, its a job 2 more than likely. The filter will be in line on the way to the cooler. Just trace the lines.

Mine was built in 3/07 as well and I have 63,000 miles. Just had a Blackstone Analysis done and It said there was a little fuel in the oil but nothing to be concerned about and other than that no other problems at all with the oil. Personally I have had no problems other than a radiator repl. I did buy the truck used in 2009 with 43,000 miles but the oasis nor Carfax showed any other repairs. I plan on getting the H&S Black Maxx as soon as I can talk the boss woman into it :-)
