Theft....Again

Well guys this time it was my tailgate. Does anyone know what one runs for. It had the step and camera in it. Realy sucks that i work hard for the things i want and the dirt bags come along and steal my stuff.

I was told that a new tailgate with the step and camera from Ford was in the neighborhood of $4k painted. This came from a guy at a local dealer not sure if he was on something or if it's true, let us know when you get a quote.

Just look on craigslist. In a week you will be able to buy it back for a few hundred.

Lock the tailgate. Mine stays locked.. Hopefully would be harder to steal..

I had my whole truck stolen about 7 weeks ago. It was a 2006 f-250 cc s/b latiot. I just picked up a 2008 6.4 and I am putting an alarm on this truck tied into train horns. At least if they break into my truck I will hear them. Its amazing what pieces of **it are out there!!

Well from the ford place they told me it was 7k to have one replace with the camara. I had one stolen on my 08 and it had the step and I claim it under my insurance and it came out to be 2900 dollars to have it replace.

I have a tailgate of a 2011 and it is not stolen dont worry. I keep it locked at all times and I put a hose clamp around the part you lift off first so you need to remove it first to take off the tailgate.

Most people wanting to steal a gate prolly wont bring a flathead, at least I hope not so if I forget to lock it they wont get it.
