Anyone have the Recon"Xtreme" Amber Scanning Tailgate Light Bar???

I don't have the recon one, I have the Firestorm by plasma glow which has the scanning amber turn signals. I like the way it looks, but it's a bit more of a job to install because Ford doesn't have the seperate bulbs for turning signals in the back so you have to run those wires up front to the turn signals, also you have to wire a resistor in if you want the bar to light up at night or you will just have brake lights and no running lights. I did that on mine, and the brakes don't light at night, but the bar is lit red at night. during the day or with the lights off it lights up with the brakes. Can't imagine the install would be much different with the recon bar.

i have the recon and it looks great. When you install take the time to cut and splice it into your 4 way trailer plug ( it come with a plug and it just plugs into your 4 way trailer plug ) then get your power for it from you other 6 pin trailer plug...you will have light on all the time your running lights are on!

the video that recon has looks pretty good..
