How can I tell if my truck was tuned?

I just bought a 2008 F350 CC FX4 with 28000 miles on it. After taking a closer look at the truck, it looks like the previous owner put a leveling kit on it (which I would like to take off), and I have noticed that my dash right next to the steering wheel on the left lower side is kind of messed up. I did not think anything of it at the time, actually I could not determine why the dash was screwed up (it looks like it got either melted or chemically burned in some way). I thought it may have been from a cigarette, but the truck has no other signs of being a smokers truck. Could this be from adhesive that would have held a tuner? I really would hate to go in for warranty and find out I am throwing the code for a not stock tune and have my warranty voided.

The truck definitely feels like the other 6.4s that I drove. It does not feel as though it is currently tuned. How do I find "a trusted non factory guy scan it and tell you?" Anyone got any suggestions in southeast Michigan?
