Truck in Shop for motor work :(

Well around 6000 miles i started hearing a nock/tick in the motor. I thought it was the tick that almost everybody has when oil gets changed, but it didn't go away with more miles being put on since last oil changed. So i take it into ford and after 2 days they say it's my rocker arms. So they are doing new rocker arms, x braces, and something else can't remember but its 32 of some thing. So i got 8800 miles on the truck and i don't know how i fill about this. But i guess at the same time at least it early in the motors life and still under warranty. and there was another 09 that was in the shop just in front of me for the same thing a tick/nock and they are doing the same fix. anybody else have this problem.

I've got the tick, it seems to be lessening with more miles, pretty much gone now. I can still hear slightly when the oil is fresh (13k total miles)

Ford gave me the "Its normal" TSB

Sorry to hear that! If it's any consolation, I have an '08 CC 4WD that has had, front hubs, gear box, egr, front and rear main seals and a passenger seatbelt receptical. All warranty.

well i got her back and no more knock. glade i didn't get the thats normal for the motor BS. total was a little over 1200.00 all under warranty
