Buddy just bought a 6.4

so like the title says a buddy of mine just bought a 2010 6.4 brand new and has ordered the dpf delete full exhaust and an intake ( i dont know which brands) and then he also got what he is calling a 50 hp tune on an edge programmer... he then explained that this programmer has been in 2 trucks prior to this and both of them blew the motors up... so my ? is does edge even make a dpf delete tune?? now keep in mind i tried talking him into one of the custom tuners that you 6.4 guys have been having good luck with and think i have him talked into one but i just wanted a little intel from you guys sorry for the long post

They make one but you have to buy a special tuner. The older edge tuners do not have a DPF delete in them.

ok thanks for the reply it just seems like there is something wrong with this tuner he is getting...and im bias against edge i just havent really seen anything real good out of them

If he's doing deletes there's a lot better options than edge! Just give him your computer & let him search several forums!
