Air Horn

Any suggestions on a train sounding airhorn that is relatively easy to install but still sounds good.

Thanks for your input. I actually had no idea they were that expensive!! Where is the best place to purchase? Has anyone experienced issues with the loudness of the train horns? Any legal issues that you know of? Any fights because someone thought it was too loud?

I have also been looking at getting a set. Is yours PLENTY loud enough? I hate to spend 400$ and be unhappy when I could spend 600$ and be satisfied.
I have heard a few in real life but I don't kow what to compare them to kit wise.
Is there ANY regret in the shocker where you wish you could have gone louder?

the kit i have goes for 580 or so and they are really loud.....the only thing that would be louder is a set of nathan k5la's which are 1000 just for the horn and nothing else....im very happy with my shocker kit....the first time you hit them make sure your windows are down cause the cab on these trucks is super sealed and you wont think their that loud!! i have gone out on my lunch break and hit them at intervals on my way back to my shop and had guys tell me when they could hear them and i was just over a mile away when they could still hear them!

heres an updated pic. i painted the horns and tank and rewired the compressor. i have a 90on-120off psi switch to a relay and a 50 amp braker. the relay is hanging there temporary i need to find one with a mounting hole. i all so mounted a high amp quick connect to my receiver hitch. i use it for jumping and to back up the winch batter on my trailer

train horn

i got mine from airhornsoftexas.com.. loud *** hell easy to install put the compressor in my tool box and mounted the horns on passenger side of the bed just across from where the fuel door is. i can post pics if you would like

i have a 06 6.0 so i used the built in dash switches for the power to the compressor and the 2nd for the horn it self so its totally undetectable unless you allready know it there
