New to Forum, have 2 options for 6.4

Just looking for some outside feedback. I have enjoyed the information in this forum.

I am looking at 2 trucks

1) 2008 Ford F-250SD 6.4 with 24,000 miles: 03/07 build

2) 2010 Ford F250SD 6.4 with 9,000 miles: 08/09 build

The 2010 is going to be about 3-3500 more, but it is a 2010.

Should I just bite the bullet on the 2010?

yeah give us more background on the trucks. if the 2010s an xl go with the 2008 if its a lariat

Yes,

NAV, roof, off road, tow. Lariats. They look very very similar.

One is black, one is white. Both have tan leather interior, 20" wheel option.

Both are very nice, the 2008 has a bedliner the 2010 does not.

go with the 2010..more time on the warranty and newer trucks are always better..plus the earlier 6.4s have a bad oil leak out of the front of the motor and suposedly they fixed the problem with the newer 6.4s talked to a ford mechanic about it today as a matter of fact my 6.0 is having surgery!
o and they have a fix for the older 6.4s i forget what he said but still less headache with the newer one

by the way both are very good lookin trucks IMO either way u would be doin good

Thanks, yes I like both of them, they have a nice clean look. We are doing some more background on the 2010. In my head the 2010 makes more sense if it checks out, its only money I guess

what a nut on these trucks.

my only concern with the 2010 is the bed not sure if it is warranted.

just get them to spray in a liner as part of the deal for the 2010. Or if they say no, then spray one in yourself (i mean linex etc)

EDIT: also where are the side steps on the white truck?

Yes, we concluded that I can have the bed cleaned and lined/coated

I did notice the side steps, auction car so the could be lost in the great abyss.

I am leaning towards the 2010, given some of the updates that were made and length of warranty remaining. I am going to run the vin with a Ford contact, get more up close pics and I will update.
