Time For a front end update. Opinions needed!

Ok so Im finally sick of the chrome grille and front bumper so its time to change it up, Ive always liked color matched more anyways.

The rear end is already color matched, but the bumper is a little bent up thanks to me but that is currently getting taken care of

So thanks to Dieselsite_barbie I now can look at a couple of ideas on the truck.

But I just cant decide which one I will like or will look the best, so Im asking for your guys opinons!

First choice is leave it how it is:


Harley Grille:


FX4 Grille with full billet inserts:


XL grille with black carriage works inserts:


Im really torn between the XL grille and FX4 grille, I really like them both, they harley grille not so much. What do you guys think?

if you are not really fond of the harley grill why is it an option? don't put something on your truck you don't like just becasue we said so.


however with that being said i think the harley grill would look the best ( especially over billet inserts). either that or keep what you already have

Well I wouldnt say that its something I would never put on my truck, I do like it, at this point I dont like it as much as the other two, but to be honest my opinion of what I think will look best on the truck changes every day so two days ago that was my favorite grille, so I still want it as an option and to see what you guys think

FX4 in my opinion! Or like said above leave it how it is and save for studs and a delete so you can run that 310 or 350 haha

haha yeah I thought about just saving for performance stuff but to be honest Im realizing that Im not too worried about making tons of power with this truck. Its got enough power as it is. Im even fine with the power of just the 210 tune and not having to worry about beefing up the engine. Id like to leave the engine untouched for now so I avoid potential issues from modding it too much.

For now I think Im just gonna focus on the appearance.

i like the fx4 and the regular xlt paint matched...they both look sweet

the fx4 draws more attention and the regular xlt grill looks cleaner...just depends which look you are going for

I always like the cleaner look more, Im considering also with the billet inserts on the FX4 grille doing those black instead of billet, probably would make it look cleaner

I have the same color truck but sc.
I also have changed my mind on what to do with the front end.
the current grill matches your wheels! It also looks clean with the headlight mod.
in my opinion the harley grill will give you the cleanest look. painting the xl can look cheap on trucks our color. Howerver in your mock up pic I think it looks very tough!

XL grille paint matched no billet inserts...leave it clean looking IMO

I have tossed around the idea of taking my FX4 grille off and replacing with a color matched XL grille I like the bars better.

i think the fx4 one would look good. im partial to that look except im going opposite im doing chrome package grille cut out with black T-rex inserts. All will look good though that's for sure, its on your truck!
