Any suggestions?

I heard changing the fuel filter under the drivers side can be a head ache to change! Any suggestions to make it an easier first filter change?

The easiest way is to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself, use a 36mm socket with a couple of extensions on it and wear old clothes that you don't care about (you will most likely take a diesel bath).

Sears makes a short 36mm socket just for this. It's 3/8 drive and works on the oil filter cap as well. I haven't used mine on the fuel filter yet but I don't think you need all the extensions with it. If you use a standard socket you'll need plenty of extensions.

The extensions make your life way easier, I usually use about 25" of extension and it works pretty good. I cant remember the exact lenght but its alot.
