Took truck into dealership

Took in a week ago.. trans was slipping reall bad. threw a code for converter solenoid.. they replaced a few solenoids so they told me over phone.. would a bad solenid cause trans to slip?? They also put a new radiator in it and an EGR.

Do you know if this was on a TSB or not?
Do you know if that code would show up on an Autozone code pull?

My tranny has been slipping bad too.

No idea my Spartan tells me everything..do u not have a warranty?

I'm out of factory warranty (53K miles), but have an ext one that I bought. Those are always a crap shoot and a PITA. I just wanted to go in "armed" to fight the typical BS.

How are you out of factory warranty? Did the 08's not come with 5 year 100k on drivetrain? I thought all diesels did.
