Looking At A Job 1 What Do I Need to Look Out For
Ive found an 08 job 1 sc/sb 90k, and am going to look at it Wednesday. Is there any problems I need to keep an eye out for. Opinions welcome. I dont want to get home and find out I messed up.

Check the radiator for leaks. Specifically around the left side, look for drips down the frame rail.

AW beat me to it. Check the radiator and if you buy it...enjoy it. They're great trucks

For some it was covered on the bumper to bumper 36000/3yr for others it was covered on the 100000/5yr diesel engine warranty. Some were turned down all together. Its very dependent on which dealer you go to. If you are buying from a dealer make sure to have it fixed before the deal is done. STRESS to the dealer that its a deal breaker if there is an issue and its not addressed. The TSB is 9-23-01. Look that up and print it out and give it to the dealer.

AW is right, don't let them get you on the radiator. Most everything else will be covered under the motor's 5/100k, like EGR issues.
