Water separator (again)
I went to drain my separator yesterday and feul leaked around the yellow handle, but none came out of the sphigot. I assume a seal has gone bad or the spout itsel has broken. I noticed there was no H2O in the fuel, but I'm not sure where the leak is coming from is draining the separator. Anyone else had this happen? I really don't want to put my truck back to stock for this BS.

Mine was doing this also. I found a couple of posts about removing the manifold from the hfcm and cleaning the area around the spigot due to white jelly like substance building up. It also advised that you might have to replace the gasket due to swelling. I didn't have a gasket so i removed spigot, cleaned it and the pushed the allen head inside the opening on the hfcm and it started draining immediately.

Wow... go to know. Thanks! So you didn't remove the manifold? I wonder if there is a fuel shutoff valve between the HFCM and the fuel tank? How did you remove the spigot without removing the manifold?

you can remove the spigot by removing the three bolts around it. to remove the manifold cover there are two more at the top.

When I open the valve to drain mine, I only get a drip every 1-2 seconds. Surely this isn't normal? I also would hate to have to take mine back to stock for this.
