First oil change on my 08

Well just got done with my first oil change on my truck, it when pretty well except for the paper washer that fell apart when I was putting the drain plug back in. My question is how important is the drain plug washer? Am i good until my next oil change or should I get a washer now and re-drain the oil? Thanks for the help

If the torn gasket bothers you, you could put a vaccum on the oil fill pipe with a shop-vac and switch the gasket. No fuss, no muss.
