new released "Navistar Maxxforce 7" diesel engine. The Big difference is The "Compacted Graphite Iron" Block for The Maxxforce 7. The 6.4 liter powerstroke uses "grey iron" for our Block. So if your interested in the ongoing evolution of Your 6.4 powerstroke engine Google "navistar maxxforce 7". Wealth of info including upcomming epa guidlines and the urea tech engines (new scorpion). PS... Interestingly ,Our engine manufacturer is now a Competitor with ford in the Diesel engine Market. |

6.4L is Maxxforce
I posted about this a few weeks ago. My questions is why did Ford choose to set up our 6.4L engines to acheive peak torque at 2000 RPM and Navistar with the same basic engine sets it up to acheive peak torque at 1400 RPMs???
What gives Ford??? I want the the low end torque!!!
