Titan Tank Questions - Voiding Warranty?

I've looked around on the internet and the cheapest i've found was $936 shipped to the house for a 2008 F-250 Extended Cab Short Bed.

Any venders here running any deals on Titan tanks? If so, where can I get one?

ALSO, I have heard rumors about it before but here recently I have been told by a Ford Diesel tech about aftermarket fuel tanks voiding Powerstrokes powertrain warranty if not installed by a dealer (pretty much). There is supposed to be a TSB about it and after searching I couldn't find it. The reason is because they have had some issues with fuel lines. Anyone have any insight? I had planned on getting my local dealer to install it to get around that, but I can install the tank myself and save a couple hundred bucks I just don't want to void my warranty since I paid for it!

I would like to know too. I wonder if any item installed by a ford tech would prevent loss of warranty? If they dont tell you i'll void your warranty then would they be liable if later a different dealership said they did? Would Ford say its between you and that dealer? Im hoping someone in the know could answer this one for us?

It depends on the dealer. Some will try to void your warranty if you have a performance sticker, saying if you have the sticker you must have been running the part.

Ive got titans on both my 6.4s and one of them is in the shop now for dieing while driving, ends up the sending unit went bad and ran out of fuel but the gauge wasnt on E. They replaced the unit under warranty and Im out of my 36K warranty, dont know how but the only charge they said yesterday was for the fuel.

Is the sending unit a Ford or Titan part? Sounds like a Ford part that is re-used with the Titan tank. BTW, what size tank do you have in your 6.4?
