Just drive to a county that does not do emissions testing.

Not to hijack but is this rule the same in every state or do some states allow it and others dont?

To my knowledge no state allows you to remove any emissions device legally, but most states do not have smog testing either. Texas only has smog testing in a few counties so it is easy just to drive over to a county that does not test to get an inspection.

the dpf is a federal law so it is illegal to remove it in every state but they haven't made it mandatory for states to test for it yet. oklahoma currently has no emissions testing at all but i've heard that at some point every state will have to have emissions testing or they won't receive federal funding for roads and things like that. not sure how true that last part is just what i've heard

so the easiest thing to do is put everything back to stock for the day then change it back?
