oil dilution

got 8000 miles on the truck and 3000 on the oil...thought i'd try just replacing dipstick to bottom of yellow handle [like i seen mentioned] to see where she was at...oil goes to top of white...after multiple checks i see my oil sitting about an inch on the wire dip stick in....could this be more than the allowed 5% allowed dilution ?........does it mean injector probs ?? truck was cold and had sat for 24hrs when i checked.........i never let the truck idle.....start and go.
