Automatic Diagnostic Report?

I was on the highway today and the truck verbally asked me if I wanted to run a diagostic report (I did not push any buttons to initiate this); I selected "yes" on the navigation screen. when it was done it said that the diagnostic report had been "sent." I have never heard of this happening before. What was it checking for? What information did it send, and who did it send it to?

It's a 2010 and there is no tuner on the truck.

Well, at least it asked if you wanted to run the report. Before you know it all that you'll get is a knock on the door in the middle of the night saying that you have a Spartan and owe the IRS for health insurance...

It just checks basic diagnostic things, nothing detailed. You can sign up on Official Ford SYNC Site - Voice Activated Calling, Navigation, & Music | FordVehicles.com to view the results of the health report. I believe you can set it up to run one only when prompted otherwise it will ask you every once in a while.
