Are our trucks going to be the black sheep now??
I was just contemplating the future value and perspective that people will take upon the 6.4 trucks. Are they going to be another 3 year blunder or are they going to be that one set of years of trucks that everyone will want and remember for years down the road. I just look forward to see what kind of legacy it will have.
I feel that the 6.7 and how long ford runs that engine will be the determining factor.

My guess is the people that keep it stock with the DPF on will consider it a blunder b/c of the mpg's, but the people that delete and tune will consider the engine a treasure. But who knows? I like mine. Spartan on the way!

I think that it will have quit a bit to do with how the 6.7 does on its first year out. If it has some issues, the 6.4`s may sought after for less head aches and higher cost of the new ones. Either way I plan on keeping mine for a while and tunability that it has to offer very happy with it.

if what your saying is in a collectors point of view id say the 6.4 will be a prize in a few years. idk much about them but think about the rare motor muscle cars

IMO ford went backwards with the appearace of the 2011 model. The way the hood sinks in and that ugly oversized grille. I think the 6.4 model will hold its own.

Yea, the 6.7 Urea model has yet to be proven with a year or two on the road....
A Step Back??? The Dually Fenders on the 6.7 are POSITIVELY FUGLY!! The rest you might get used to, but my 09 King Ranch RULES THE ROOST... It is also the last of the big running gear F-450, the big DANA 110 rear diff is gone with the new F-450, back to a Dana 80 glorified F-350 with more springs... Gone is the Big Diff.... ![]() Gone is the Big brakes.... ![]() Gone is the Big Wheels on the F-450, how do you like that, they are going back to 17"... ![]() Gone is the 10 stud wheels ![]() I think the 09 F-450 is the biggest, the best, the Last of the real Mohicans.. ![]() If I ever go a 6.7 I will have to go all the way to an F-550 to get the big running gear and wheels...
