2010 Lariat Price
I am looking at 2010 Lariat with an MSRP of 56,230 and the dealer said they will take 49630. That seems super high to me, right? Anybody have ideas on what I should realistically expect to pay?

Well Ford is offering 6000 in rebates so the dealer is only giving 600 off on their side.

I am located in Dallas, TX and I don't have any family or friends that work for Ford.

You should be able to do a bit better. I know that dealers seem to price almost identical trucks differently. Anyway, I'm dealing on a 2010 F350 Lariat FX4 that has a sticker price of $58,709. With all discounts I have them down to $48,057 plus tax and license. The sales tax & license adds almost another $4000 which brings the price back to a little over $52,000. I have offered $48,000 "down the road" price. The sales manager grinned and said no. I told him to give me a call when the 2011 trucks start rolling in and he finally wants it off the lot. I really believe I can get it for that price if someone else does not buy it in the next couple of months because Ford will most likely increase the incentive money to get the 2010s off the lots. We'll see. If not, I'm happy with my 2008 F250.

I just bought a 2010 F-350 4x4 crew cab Lariat plus. It listed for 56K and I got it for 45K. you can do better I think! I guess it boils down to how hard you want to work them and how bad they want to make the deal ya know. Use another Ford dealer against them if you can. compare prices and get them to price match. you may get the better deal that way. I got mine for under invoice which is better than most of the Ford plans.

If you get that truck for 48 drive out you are doing all the good man. I am a bit too impatient so I would have a hard time letting it just sit there, if you can that takes alot of leverage away from the dealer.

ask them to see if any mail rebates have been sent to you or your address. tell them you want it for invoice plus you keep the rebates. they can run a Vincent report to see what rebates are compatible with other rebates and get you the best price.

I wouldn't pay a penny more then Invoice minus rebates. The invoice on a truck like that is about 49-50K. Then take your 6K and rebates off and you should be around 44K for that truck. I paid $44,567 for my 2010 F350 CC/LB Lariet plus 4X4. That was the out the door price. My sticker was $56,920. I worked the dealership for about 2 weeks and they finally gave in.
