I am having trouble with my cruise controll. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont. I read on a other thread where they changed the brake pressure sensors. Can someone tell me where they are located or if yall know of any other things to fix this.

i have the same thing except mine just doesn't work at all now. If you can't get into 4lo either then you have a brake sensor issue. I haven't gotten around to fixing mine yet and it's been like a year.

If it is a brake sensor issue which sensor and where at. I checked for any codes and there is none. Its hard to fix it without giving me a little something to go buy.

Re: Cruise Control Problem
Have you checked the fuse? Mine quit working today and I was coming on this site to see if I could find some answers too. I looked for the fuse but cannot find it listed anywhere in the owners manual.
![]() If someone can enlighten me on where I can find the fuse I would appreciate it. I figure I will check that before driving the 60 miles to the nearest dealer. |

On a side note, I installed the Recon cab clearance lamps this afternoon and it was after that that my cruise control didn't work. My cruise was working last night when I came home from work.
I'm not sure if the two are related or not but I am thinking I better figure that part out before I take the truck to the dealer |

everything else was working on my truck at the time the cruise control stopped working. however, now, everything including the cruise is working.
As far as the fuse being listed in "Roadside Emergencies" The is the same place it is listed for my '07. but it is NOT anywhere in the listing of fuses and I have carefully looked through it at least a dozen times. Three different dealers can't even tell me where it is and they say they don't think there is one for the 2010 ![]() I guess as long as the cruise continues to work, I wont be taking it in. According to the dealer, they can't don anything about an intermittant problem. So much for qualified technicians. I would think that as heavily controlled by computers as these trucks are there would be a way to find out what is going on. But, What do I know?? |
