Trading My F250 For F350 Wasn't Really A "Deal"
A few days ago I posted about doing a deal where I would trade in my 2008 F250 XLT for a 2010 F350 FX4 Lariat, payments would be the same and length of contract would be the same, and no money out of pocket. I owe about $44,000 on my F250 (only had it 1 year). Seemed like a really great deal. It would have been for the dealer as the truck is not a diesel but instead has the V10 gas motor. I did not pay that much attention to the window sticker as I assumed it was a diesel. When I went for a test drive and started up the truck I was shocked. I told them no deal as I thought the truck was a diesel. No wonder they were willing to make me the deal as there is at least $7000 difference between the gas and diesel truck. It's all okay as I really like my truck. Just thought I'd update everyone.

Wow they were really trying to play you.
Yah dealers will do anything to get a diesel. As someone on here said a while back "A diesel on the lot is like gold". 'Cause they always sell |

"man I can believe this diesel runs on gas, it even has spark plugs".

Just a tip for future reference, the side vents on a diesel are red, on a gasser they are black.

The first thing that would have tipped me off is why the heck would they trade a 2008 F250 XLT on a 2010 F350 Lariat and not charge you anything?
