Opti Lube Oil Fortifier?

I have been using the Opti Lube XPD for a while now and I feel it is making a difference. I am getting ready to order some more and was thinking about ordering the oil fortifier as well. Has anyone used the oil fortifier? Is it a good idea bad idea? I figure it can't hurt, especially with the Spartan installed now but wanted some opinions and past experience if there are any out there. Thanks.......................EW

fordguy 1715,
To answer your question, the fuel economy gains are there but very minimal. The biggest difference I have noticed is that the engine runs much smoother, both at idle and under load. When you walk up next to the truck there is not near as much engine knock as before. I have been running the XPD fuel additive for quite some time now, I believe that I am on gallon #4. As for the oil fortifier, I never got any feedback from anyone but chose to go ahead and try it this last oil change (about 500 miles ago). As far as I know this product is not available in you every day parts house, maybe a performance diesel shop if there is one in your area. I have been ordering it on line from here Diesel Fuel Improver and it shows up in about 3-4 buisness days. They can't ship it anything other than ground do to the plane/airport restrictions. Hope this helps...............EW

Too soon to tell on the fortifier, but I figure the added protection can't hurt. Especially with all extra power from the Spartan.
